In this toolkit, SEDL provides tools and designed to help educators increase parent/guardian involvement and provide opportunities for parents to engage in and support their children’s academic achievements. In addition to the tools provided, SEDL explains how parent involvement impacts student success and meets program requirements for funding. The toolkit includes information on the following topics: Policy, Planning and Building Capacity; Communication, Notification, Reporting and Information Sharing; Parent Rights and Options; Meaningful Involvement and Decision Making; and Fund Allocation.
